Wang Xizhi Chinese Painting Print – Qianli Jiangshan Blue-Green

The Qianli Jiangshan Blue-Green isn’t just a subject here — in Wang Xizhi’s hands it’s practically a portrait. One sheet, unmounted, unframed: a huaxin print of the original composition.

Across the sheet you’ll find landscape, blue-green, and mountains, and a worthy classical Chinese wall art. Look again and you’ll spot river and handscroll tucked into the composition. That blue-green coloring is the classical landscape shorthand for paradise — a fine traditional Chinese painting reproduction. In the handscroll manner, the scene unrolls rather than presenting itself all at once. The scenery is composed for lingering — every path leads the eye somewhere worth going. The mass of the mountains is balanced against the emptiness around them — that’s the whole trick. Wang Xizhi, the 4th-century ‘Sage of Calligraphy,’ set the standard every later hand measured itself against.

A strong choice for anyone building a Chinese art collection on paper, a strong Chinese brush painting print by any measure. Gift it flat in a portfolio — presentation matters, and this deserves it.
