Of course she is not part of the smuggling ring, and he has actually been duped into delivering the drugs to Cairo by the real leader of the desert drug smugglers. The blonde gal is Anna Lee, daughter of a British Vicar who trained at London's Royal Albert Hall. Her Godparents were Dame Sybil Thorndike and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. During the period that this movie was filmed she was known as the Queen of the Quota Quickie – she appeared in many low-budget quickly filmed adventures like this one that entertained British audiences every week. . . . And continues to entertain us today thanks to collectors who have saved movies like this one. A few years after this movie she moved to Hollywood with her director husband Robert Stevenson, and continued appearing in movies, and even became a part of the television soap opera cast for General Hospital as Lila Quartermaine.
